Tucked away in the Japanese village of Kyushu lies an attraction that’s simultaneously popular with tourists worldwide, and also quite mysterious. With little English information to be found on the Internet, it’s almost as if you have to stumble upon this fairytale location rather than planning to visit.
The village looks like a scene from the English countryside, and boasts an Alice in Wonderland store, a petting zoo, and a bread shop modeled after the one made famous in the anime Kiki’s Delivery Service. It’s an anomaly for Japan, and you can see the photos of this whimsical village below.
The place is known as the Yufuin Floral Village.

It looks like something out of a medieval fantasy world.

In fact, it’s so fantastical that some of the scenes from Harry Potter were filmed there.

Looking at the details of the village, it’s almost like being transported into another world.

And of course, there are plenty of English gardens and beautiful flowers.

There’s a Peter Rabbit attraction, as well as a petting zoo.

Not to mention the bakery from the famed Kiki’s Delivery Service.

Would you love to put reality aside for an afternoon and visit this enchanted village?
