Situated in Northern Italy on the southern side of the Monte Rosa Massif, this small village is a perfect place for ski lovers. The mountain has a good exposure and there is a gondola as well. Skiing the Malfatta and Vittoria couloirs is a must, as well as the six-mile-long La Balma, which winds down a glacier and through ancient farming hamlets.
